Frank Phillips Boulevard will soon add another facelift to the many renovations that have been taking place over the last few years. Jim Phillips, the owner and CEO of First Investment Corporation, has acquired a larger property for our offices adjacent to the North of our current location. Thus, Frank Phillips Boulevard will now be FIC’s new frontage road. It is difficult to call this a move since we are only moving our offices 50 feet to the North of our current building. Nonetheless, it is a move.

The first stage in renovations will be to update the Ambler Architects facilities to meet our needs during the last half of 2007. The target completion date for the actual move to this new location will be January 1, 2008.

So, in lieu of this move, please update your records to reflect our current active mailing address and begin using this mailing address immediately as our permanent mailing address:

Some History

Ambler Architects and World Acceptance Corp have occupied our future location on Frank Phillips Boulevard in recent years. Phillips 66 previously renovated the building during the 1970’s for special projects.

This will mark our second opportunity to renovate a building in the heart of downtown Bartlesville. The original location of First Investment Corporation was the old courthouse on 501 SE Frank Phillips Boulevard from 1984 to 1994. Our current location at 302 SE Osage was an automobile dealership and later it was Eppler Furniture. The building was purchased from Eppler’s in 1994 and we moved in that November.
